The plan would put the homes on land between Stratford Road and Nuthurst Lane with access off Stratford Road.

The application to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council says: “The scale of the development fits in with its surroundings, its location and the scale of character of existing development.”

Each would gave two garage spaces and two parking spaces.

The application says the site is used by owners, who live nearby, as a paddock but had been hit by recent thefts and is “prone to vandalism”.

The application is for outline planning permission, for the principle of using the site, and a detailed application would be needed for final details of the scheme.

  1. It is a drastic step to lose more green space to build homes due to theft and vandalism a very expensive exercise but would be profitable to the owners.
