Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is advertising a plan to make permanent restrictions which have partly been in place since April 2011.

Its order will ban parking on both sides of Widney Road near the junction and the north side of Mill Lane.

The council said it is “in response to concerns raised by the school crossing patrol manager regarding parked vehicles on Widney Road compromising the safe operation of the school crossing patrol located on Widney Road immediately south of Mill Lane”.
