Name change for Heron's Nest

THE Heron’s Nest pub, Knowle has applied for a makeover, including a name change.

Mitchells & Butlers has applied to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to change the Warwick Road pub’s name to The King’s Arms.

It has also applied for internal changes to the pub. For the Licensing Act Application to the council, click here.

  2. Nice to see that it is going back to it's origional name, the same as the name as the bridge next to it. It will now match the old census for the area!!

  3. Can anyone confirm if its correctly named 'The Kings' Arms' or should it be 'The King's Arms'?. The bridge doesn't have an apostrophe so I can't reference it against that.
    The previous sign for the Herons' Nest was hastily amended with an added apostrophe after the event, hence my question.
    Anyone have any ideas?
