SOLIHULL primary schools have again scored the highest exam marks for 10 and 11-year-olds in the West Midlands.
Figures released yesterday show 79 per cent of borough youngsters achieved level four in English and maths SAT tests.
This was 76 per cent in 2005. This is the basic level for this age group.
The borough was also top in the region for the more advanced level 5 in English, maths and science.
Local schools continued to perform above the national average.
For example, 55 per cent of Knowle CE Primary School got level 5 maths compared to 35 per cent in England.
