Cycle lane call to be examined

CALLS for a cycle lane along Widney Manor Road between Dorridge and Solihull are to be looked into.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council will investigate the lane for the road, which runs from the roundabout by Widney Manor Cemetery into the town.

Bid for parking curb in cul-de-sac

ROAD chiefs have been urged to introduce parking restrictions in a cul-de-sac near Widney Manor Station.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council was told the need to take 'no waiting' measures in The Spinney was 'urgent'.

It comes after a parking permit scheme was introduced in nearby streets.
