A GERMAN-STYLE Christmas market will officially open in Solihull today.Wooden toys, candles and traditional Christmas decorations are among the goods on offer when the market opens in Mell Square.
Food includes crepe, waffles and sausage and there will be German beer and mulled wine.
The Christmas lights will also be switched on at 5.30pm.
Entertainment includes live music, elf stilt walkers, face painters, balloon modellers and jugglers.
The market will be open from 10am to 7pm Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 8pm Friday to Saturday to December 23.
