SOLIHULL Register Office has undergone a £80,000 re-fit.
The Homer Road facility has re-decorated, fitted with a new sound and lighting system and front canopy.
Adele and Richard Brotheridge, from Smith’s Wood, were the first to tie the knot at the register office, which sees about 700 weddings a year.
Councillor Kate Wild, cabinet member for community services, said in a press release: “The improvements have transformed the register office.
“We have a lovely location in the centre of Solihull and now that is matched by the range of beautiful rooms we can offer people.”
