Parking wardens for "Keep Clear" markings

DRIVERS who park over school “Keep Clear” markings will be slapped with a ticket under new plans.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council wants to ticket motorists.

It took over warden duties from police in 2007 and said in a report it would be more “consistent” in handing out tickets.

These schools would be enforced.

The move would cost £25,000.

The Silhillian reported last month how the council has taken fines worth more than £500,000 in the 18th months since it took over enforcement.
