Ten people seen at temporary A&E

AN "inflatable A&E" in Solihull town centre saw ten people last night.

It was set up for four nights over the Christmas period in the High Street and saw 34 people.

It was staffed by NHS workers, including a doctor, and was aimed at reducing pressure on stretched A&E at Solihull Hospital.

Inspector Phil Radbourne, of West Midlands Police, wrote on his Twitter page: "Been worth doing and cost effective."
