Council chiefs and businesses hope the Visit Solihull website will attract visitors to the borough.
It was established by the Tourism Forum, set up last June.
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, Councillor Ian Courts, hailed the move.
He said in a press release: “The borough has much to offer local visitors, including a thriving town centre, beautiful parks and great leisure facilities.
“The website is a great opportunity for residents and visitors to easily access information on the tourist businesses in Solihull.”
Chairman of the Tourism Forum and general manager of the Ramada Hotel, Andy Cole, said: “The website will be a great opportunity for local businesses to promote what they have to offer tourists and will ensure that we capture opportunities from people passing through the area – particularly from the NEC and those that stay for business purposes.
“The site will allow people to plan their itineraries and book accommodation and attractions online, becoming a one stop shop for visitors to the area.”
To register a business on the site call 0121 704 6151 or email business@solihull.gov.uk.
