Mr Hanson, auctioneer on the BBC’s Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, will fire the starter’s gun and present prizes at the May 16 event.
It comes after Mrs Brady pulled out of being the guest of honour as it clashed with a friend’s wedding.

He said: “I am delighted to be putting all runners on starters orders.”
Organiser John Heard said: “We are delighted that Charles has offered to come down all the way from Derbyshire for us and are interested to see how he enjoys his roles for us.
“With over half the entries already in for the five-mile run it looks as though the event is heading for another sell-out and will live up to its billing as one of the Midlands biggest community fundraising events again this year.”
He said: “Since we have been forced to close the roads, the two lap traffic-free run has become even more popular.
“Last year the 2,000 runners and 300 under 9 year old Mini runners raised over £40,000 for charity.”
Knowle and Dorridge Lions, which organises the event, has chosen the Parkinson’s Disease Society, Teenage Cancer Trust and fly2help and local charities to benefit from sponsorship cash.
