The centres will open at Monkspath Junior and Infant School and Bentley Heath C of E Primary School. They are aimed at helping deprived families.
The centre is part of the Government’s Sure Start programme, will provide childcare for under fives and aged eight and over with disabilities.
The council said: “This will include information and advice on childcare, parenting and family support, links to training and employment services and stay and play sessions.”
An open day will be held at the Monkspath centre, in Farmhouse Way, on May 27 between 2pm and 7pm.
Another centre, for Oliver Baird Hall in Church Hill Road, was approved last month.
The centres were a key policy of the Labour Government and the new coalition has pledged to keep them for the ‘neediest families’.
