A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital by air ambulance after falling from a horse in Dorridge.

She suffered a fractured ankle in the fall at Solihull Riding Club in Four Ashes Road at about 6.15pm yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “A rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were sent to the scene.
“The girl sustained a fractured ankle in the fall.
“Crews treated her at the scene and immobilised her with a leg splint, neck collar and spinal board before she was flown to Selly Oak Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
