They are invited to apply for the event in a questionnaire being delivered to village homes this week.
Sainsbury’s has said it wants to develop a new plan for Forest Court after a March bid was rejected by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
The questionnaire says: “Many of you told us that you liked the idea of a new foodstore, and that it was mainly the size and design of our proposed development that you had concerns about.”
It says it wants residents to ‘help us gain a better understanding of what the community requires before we move forward with any potential new plans’.
The workshop hopes to ‘represent the broad range of people living in Dorridge’.
People are asked how long they have lived in the village and groups and associations they belong to.
The questionnaire was delivered to homes south of Widney Road. Click here to read it (pdf, 2.3MB).
It asks about shopping and travel habits, existing shopping facilities in the village and views on a proposed store.
It also seeks views on other shops and facilities sought around the store.
The previous plan included four more shops, including a café, community facility and replacement doctors’ surgery.
