HEALTH chiefs are seeking a mum or mum-to-be to lead group on the future of maternity services.
It comes as Solihull Hospital’s maternity unit was stripped of doctors, seeing about a tenth of the births it used to see.

Now bosses are looking for a woman to chair the Maternity Services Liaison Committee.
This is funded by NHS Birmingham East and North and Solihull NHS Care Trust, which are backing the maternity changes.
They said it aims to be an ‘effective and influential voice for service users, empower its members to influence decisions and improve the experience and choice of maternity services for all’.
