KNOWLE Fun Run has lost a major sponsor.Trainer manufacturer Brooks Running provided an inflatable blue arch, running numbers and vouchers for the May event, held at Arden school.

Organisers said “Brooks Running who have been one of our major sponsors have changed their marketing policy and withdrawn their arch from UK events generally.”
Organiser Simon Newell said: “This is a major blow.
“Brooks have been a really good partner for 6 years, bringing, inflating and dismantling their big blue arch, and providing the running numbers and vouchers for the winners in each class.
“We shall do our best to replace them, but there are only a limited number of companies to approach.”
