The BBC Radio WM presenter will start the May 15 charity race at Arden School, Station Road and hand out prizes.

She said: “I’m delighted to be invited to set the runners off for the Mini Runs and the five mile Fun Run and award the prizes again this year.
“It’s great following in the footsteps of other celebrities including my colleague at Radio WM, Phil Upton.”
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, The Stroke Association and Dorridge and Knowle scout groups and other charities will get cash from the race, organised by Knowle and Dorridge Lions.
She said: “With your help the Lions Club have raised so much in the past for so many different charities. It’s important to keep up that impetus and what better way than through fitness and fun.”
Last year's event raised £40,000 and had TV antiques presenter Charles Hanson as the VIP.
Organiser Simon Newell said: “Joanne has been a great supporter of the Knowle Fun Run having been our celebrity guest seven years ago and it’s a pleasure to welcome her back in 2011.
“In these cash strapped times it is heartening to see the local community once again pulling together to raise money for our nominated charities.”

Meanwhile, the event has landed a new sponsor for an inflatable arch on the school field.
Running shoe company New Balance has stepped in after Brooks Running pulled out.
