Some 25 volunteers from a business group cleaned up footpaths and vegetation.The Solihull Sustainability Visioning Group was set up by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
Staff from Draintech Services, EH Smith, Hardyman, Jaguar Land Rover, NEC Group and Solihull Council helped with the clean-up.
Land Rover’s Joe McNamara said: "It’s great to see so many volunteers from Solihull businesses really getting stuck in and working together to support an environmental project to enhance resident’s enjoyment of their local park.”
Council cabinet member for economic development and regeneration Ian Courts said: “Corporate volunteering can improve morale and team working and is a good way of demonstrating businesses' commitment to their local community.”
