Security has been stepped up after an alleged attempt by a Nigerian man to blow up a plane over Detroit.
A statement from the airport said: “Due to increased security checks at the departure gate, passengers are advised to check-in for flights to America in plenty of time so that they can relax and take advantage of the retail and catering experience in Terminal One.
“For specific details on security at the departure gate passengers are advised to contact their airlines.”
