Concern over missing dementia OAP

POLICE are concerned over the whereabouts of an 87-year-old dementia sufferer who went missing today.

Irene Sheridan is believed to have left her home in Barn Lane, Olton some time between 7.15am and 8.45am.

She is 4ft9ins with short wavy grey hair, blue eyes, wearing a wedding ring, a watch and a bracelet.

She was last seen wearing suede boots, a long dark blue skirt, a suede jacket and a turquoise blue coat.

Acting Inspector Karen Winfield from Solihull police station said: "We are very concerned for Mrs Sheridan's welfare as she may be confused and has gotten lost.

"With the cold, icy weather we are keen to find her as soon as possible and urge everyone in the area to keep an eye out for anyone matching her description.”
