A NEW feature in Solihull’s Mell Square has been vandalised weeks after going up.
The head of a mosaic flower was pulled off over the weekend.

It is one of eight flowers alongside a pyramid on the site of a former chess board. The head will be reattached soon.
It was put up to celebrate town’s entry in Britain in Bloom. Police are studying CCTV.
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council’s Cllr Tim Hodgson, cabinet member for environment, hit out.
He said: “I completely condemn this behaviour which has really tainted the end to this year’s Solihull in Bloom campaign.
“These flowers have only been in place a few weeks, adding interest and colour to the area.
“I really hope that this is just one mindless act and the flowers will in future be left untouched for many visitors and residents to enjoy.”
