CARS police believe were stolen in Solihull have been recovered from industrial units in Birmingham.

Police executed a warrant on Monday for units at in Burbridge Road, Bordsley Green. Cars from other parts of the UK are thought to be amongst those recovered,
Three men aged 24, 27 and 33 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and bailed.
Police said in a press release: “Complete cars and parts including engines and interiors were recovered that relate to 14 different, stolen vehicles.
“Dozens of other parts were recovered which police suspect to be stolen in a number of car key burglaries, some of which took place in the borough.”
Detective Inspector Paul Joyce said: “This operation was intelligence led and the team deployed targeted this location to damage the infrastructure used by those who steal and deal in stolen vehicle parts.
“The investigation is at an early stage but hopefully presents a chance to bring to justice those who profit from the sale of stolen cars.”
