A firebomb was put through the letterbox of Prom Misses, in the Kimbells Walk walkway by Blockbuster video, overnight on Tuesday January 26.
It comes after Whispers in the High Street was attacked over Christmas.
An internal shutter prevented the Prom Misses fire from spreading but all the stock, worth thousands, was ruined by smoke, owner Debbie Cox said.
She told The Silhillian: “It was a big shock. It is a terrible, terrible violation and for somebody to be so malicious. They don’t understand the repercussions.”
The store has been shut since the attack and will re-open on Saturday.
Although the losses are covered by insurance, Miss Cox said it had hit business hard.
She said: “We only have a finite amount of time. We do prom dresses mainly and this is the busiest time of the year, this is our Christmas week.”
The damage was discovered on Wednesday morning said Miss Cox, who locked up the store at 6pm the previous night.
Miss Cox said: “There had been a firebomb put through the letterbox. Because we had a shutter down, it had contained the fire.
“The whole shop was smoke damaged so we have lost all our stock.
“We are having to replace all the stock, it has been a complete nightmare.
“We don’t know why anyone would want to do it. It could of gone up had we not had the shutter.”
There were fears animal rights activists were responsible for the Whispers attack.
But Miss Cox said: “The police said if it was animal rights they would have owned up to it, they like people to know they have done it.
“We don’t carry fur in our shop. The only similarity is we are a ladies clothes shop.”
The business has been running for four years and moved from Dorridge to Knowle in November.
