Prommisses, in Kimbells Walk, is empty and is on the market with John Shepherd.

A firebomb was put through the letterbox overnight on Tuesday January 26, about a month after a similar attack on Whispers clothes in the High Street.

An internal shutter prevented the fire from spreading but all the stock, worth thousands, was ruined by smoke, owner Debbie Cox said at the time.

Its owners have yet to comment on the reasons for closure after being contacted by The Silhillian.

It comes after florists Stephanie’s in St Johns Way, opposite Tesco, also closed.

Yet Costa, in the High Street, and the former Victoria Wine shop on Station Road, have recently opened.

The former off license has opened as a wine and tea shop, Nanni O’s Tea Room and Village Deli.
