THE annual general meeting of
The Knowle Society will be held on Saturday, February 7 in Knowle Village Hall.

The event will include a
discussion on the society’s activities.
It has played a prominent
role in giving views on major developments such as Dorridge’s Sainsbury’s and a
planned Waitrose for Knowle.
It is also helping draw up aNeighbourhood Plan to set out where residents want development and of what
type, such as homes.
This will have to be approved
by a public vote and will then be taken into consideration when Solihull
Metropolitan Borough Council makes decisions on planning applications.
It is also seeking council
approval to legally protect three parcels of land off the Wychwood Avenue Knowle Park
