Managers will hold the meeting at 7pm at Shirley Methodist Church, 257 Stratford Road, Shirley.
They are proposing to remove doctor-led births from the hospital, claiming there are not enough staff to ensure safety.
This would see about 75 per cent of births take place at other hospitals, including Heartlands in Bordesley Green and Good Hope in Sutton Coldfield.
