A planning application has been submitted to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to turn Carly’s High Street premises into a coffee shop.
The shop has said it will move into the former Katie Joyce furniture shop next to Natwest bank.
A notice in its window says: "Our plans are to relocate a more modern premise at 1664 High Street only a few shops away from our current location.
"We are confident our new premises will enable us to improve the shopping experience for our customers.
"We are unable to confirm our position until all final lease negotiations and applications have been finalised.
"We will keep all our customers notified as these plans develop over the next few weeks.
"Please be assured Carly's will remain in Knowle."
Carly’s did not comment when contacted by The Silhillian when the planning application was submitted.
The Costa plan will need approval by the council.
